Disco Sugar accepts custom cake orders on a month-to-month basis. Orders open on the first Sunday of every month for the following month. For example, March orders will open on Sunday, February 2, at 9:30 AM. Availability is limited, so it’s recommended to book early as spots fill quickly.

To place an order, submit an inquiry form once orders open for your event month. After submitting, you’ll receive an email confirming whether your order can be accommodated. If accepted, an invoice for deposit will be sent. Please note that your cake is only booked once a deposit is received. Final payment and pickup details will be provided the week of your event.

Submitting an inquiry form does not guarantee an order. Orders are confirmed via email, and deposits are required to secure the booking. As a single person operation, inquiry forms are typically reviewed on Tuesdays. Response times may vary. For any urgent inquiries or questions, please email discosugar.roc@gmail.com. Once your order is confirmed, an invoice will be sent via Square requesting a 50% deposit to secure your order date. Deposits must be paid within 48 hours, or the spot may no longer be available. Please note that deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferrable if mutually agreed upon.

The remaining balance is due the Monday before pickup. An automated email with a payment link will be sent via Square. Failure to pay on time may result in order cancellation. By submitting an order form, you agree to these terms.

For standard custom cakes, Disco Sugar books on a month-to-month basis to maintain flexibility and simplify scheduling. This also ensures clients don’t need to book months in advance to secure a cake. Subscribe to the email list below to be the first to know when dates open for your event month!

Weddings and special events booked through the VIP Events Package enjoy advanced booking privileges, guaranteeing your spot on the calendar. A $350 minimum applies—visit the “Weddings” page for details.

Pickups are typically offered on Thursdays - Saturdays only. If your desired pickup date isn’t listed, you do have the option to choose an earlier date. Cakes stay fresh in the fridge for up to 5 days or longer in the freezer. Freezing instructions will be provided if needed. Please inform me if you plan to delay cutting your cake!

Otherwise, availability listed on the form is firm. Please do not fill out a form for a date not listed.

Pickup is in the South Wedge in Rochester, NY. I will provide the exact address the week of your order. I AM NOT LOCATED NEAR NYC.
